The third path

I am posting on Facebook in my Mere Reality group, on Zen, and on Youtube. After reading my posts and articles some people want to encourage me and say: “Keep preaching, sister!”. When I heard it for the first time, I was very surprised. We do say like that when we fully agree with someone but at the same time there is a certain association with something religious, isn’t it? I am not preaching. I’m doing something completely different. In the broad sense of the word, preaching is expressing ideas, knowledge, truths, teachings, or beliefs by the follower of a particular doctrine. At first glance, it looks as if I am preaching, as I am explaining how the world works, what the laws of nature are, why sentient beings appeared, and what the meaning of human life is.

The answers to these questions are beyond scientific knowledge. Any teaching that attempts to answer these questions is beyond scientific knowledge as well. In other words, there are no scientifically proven facts for those things that are beyond scientific knowledge, yet people strive to know the answers. Thus, the truth of such a teaching can only be proven via indirect evidence. For example, the internal consistency of the worldview can be analyzed; and it is also important to find out whether this worldview contradicts genuine scientific facts or not. It is vital to remember that if a philosophy explains things beyond scientific facts, this does not mean that we are talking about supernatural or mysticism. In other words, unknown does not mean supernatural.

Usually preaching is associated with a religious worldview and moralism. However, this is not what I do. I am sharing my worldview, which, in my opinion, correctly describes the world. This worldview is not a religion because it is not based on blind faith, there is no cult, and it denies supernatural forces. It describes the world in terms of natural processes. And even if science has not yet proved these facts, they still are natural processes. They go beyond the purely materialistic view but this does not mean that we are talking about something mystical. In fact, we are talking about normal natural processes that will be described by scientists one day. I can give you an example. Imagine that I am explaining to someone the essence of fire. I tell him that he should be careful because he might get burned and it is bad for his body. And if he is careful, he can warm himself up and others, and it is good for everybody. Can this be considered a sermon? I don’t think so. I just pass on my knowledge and experience. And even if I use the words “good” and “bad”, it doesn’t make it a sermon. I am not describing any beliefs or mystical processes, but reality itself. And it is true, whether someone has proved it or not. Fire burns a careless person regardless of his knowledge, it has always been like that, it is the same for prehistoric, medieval, and modern people. Thus, passing on knowledge about the world is more about teaching than preaching.

I aim to pass on the knowledge that I have received from my Teacher to people. And I try my best because true knowledge about the world belongs to everyone. It belongs to all mankind. People have an active mind to cognize the world and it is impossible to cognize it on your own. We cognize the world as an intelligent species altogether, accumulating and passing on knowledge to future generations. And therefore, if I have access to knowledge that other people do not have yet, then I must share it. And it’s not just knowledge, it’s something extremely important for humanity, it’s a new approach to understanding the world. This knowledge can change people and the world for the better. “Is it possible to come up with something new?” – someone might ask, – “Are other teachings, religions, and philosophies not enough to change people for the better?”. And my answer is, “No. Look around you. Our world is very far from being perfect though there are so many different teachings. The reason is – people have not come yet to a common understanding of how the world works. The existing concepts are not enough for people to finally realize what they are and what the world is like. The correct understanding of the world order is an opportunity to embark on the proper path of spiritual development, without delusions, illusions, and mysticism. This is an opportunity to put an end to the confrontation between science and religion. Science is ideally compatible with spirituality and morality, without any mysticism and supernatural, without appeal to the incomprehensible. And right now, in our society where many people can think beyond the boundaries, it is time for the true worldview to come. It brings together the desire for spirituality and the desire for scientific knowledge. Both have always existed in harmony in people, though they could not explain it.”

People have always strived for morality and spirituality, and religions have arisen. And at the very beginning of civilizations, it was religions that explained how the world worked. Actually, at that time they were not called religions, they were just worldviews. At some point, science arose and disproved some of the religious beliefs. However, the keyword is “some”. People have always tried to overcome delusions and superstitions; however, the problem is that science has never been able to give all the answers and provide people with the proper worldview leaving space for religions. This is what religions do – they answer these vital questions. For example, questions about the meaning of life itself, the aim of human life, or the afterlife. Science can not yet give any answers; thus, people have to look for these answers in different religions, in supernatural.

What if a person doesn’t believe in the supernatural? What if he wants to get answers to the most important questions but believes that the world is cognizable, and everything has logical explanations? What if he wants to know why he exists and feels deep spirituality within but cannot blindly believe? What if he is used to thinking and analyzing not believing? For such people, there is the third path.

Once I found this path. It explains the picture of the world without mysticism. It does not contradict science; it goes along with it, complementing it. There are non-mystical answers to the most important questions. It is possible to cognize oneself, to learn about the meaning of life, about the universe and its evolution without going into mysticism and the supernatural. And then everything falls into place. Spirituality becomes natural, and knowledge through reason and logic becomes normal.

There is no contradiction between spirituality and logic. They support and complement each other. When we talk about people it’s more about the evolution of spirit and personality rather than the evolution of matter. The evolution of spirit takes place within the framework of nature and its laws.

And ever since the third path opened up for me, I must share this knowledge with other people. Of course, science will continue to develop, and the time will come when all this will be discovered and explained by scientists, but not today. However, humanity is badly in need of these answers now. How does the world work? Why do people exist? What should they be like? What is right and what is wrong? We live today, and if it is already possible to answer these questions, then we must answer them and live properly. And that’s exactly what I do. I inform people, give answers, and explain. My task is to convey knowledge to people.

The knowledge that the Teacher has passed on to me will help many people to understand themselves, become better and start changing this world for the better. Many will follow this path and many will become happy and make others happy long before science proves why they can and should do the right thing. I’m not a preacher and I’m not calling anyone to believe but I offer an amazing worldview to those who would like to understand the world, for those who are looking for the third path. And I’m always here to answer questions and share everything I know.
