13 questions about the prophet

In this article I will give answers to several key questions about the prophet Atarkhat. This topic is special for me and for every person who understands what the Teaching is, why it appeared in our world and what it gives to each of us. Apart from giving bare facts, I will also emphasize the great role this person plays for all followers of the Teaching, for me personally and, ultimately, for humanity.

Who is a prophet? – Very often when people hear the word “prophet”, they ask: “What did he prophesy?” They think that a prophet and a soothsayer or a fortune-teller who sees the future are all the same. For the purpose of this article, we should clarify straight away that in the Teaching the word “prophet” is not used in the meaning of “soothsayer” or “fortune-teller”. In the Teaching, a prophet is a person who receives knowledge about the world order directly from Nature itself. There is nothing supernatural in his personality, since there is no supernatural in Nature. Everything that we know and will ever learn is natural and lies within natural processes. The revelation and the person who receives it are no exception. It should be also pointed out that in this article we are actually talking about a real person, not just a term. Thus, who is the prophet? First of all, he is a person who accepted the great responsibility to pass on genuine knowledge about the world to people. He is fully dedicated to this mission and his aim is to help people. This mission is very complicated as our world is full of delusions. The prophet speaks openly about the Truth, about the objective reality to people; though many of them prefer delusions to the Truth. This is similar to being a doctor during a plague. However, this plague corrupts souls, and therefore people do not understand that they are sick and do not want to be cured. The prophet is a person who cares about each of us and wants to help us with all his heart and soul. For this mission, for the Truth, he would give his life if necessary. For us, people from the Teaching, the prophet Atarkhat is also a Teacher and a friend. If our parents gave birth to our bodied, he gave birth to our souls. We were born blind in our delusions, and he made our souls sighted. He taught us to see Life, and awakened its power within us. He taught us to see the world as it is, in all its fullness and beauty. He taught us to see the ocean in every drop, and to be not only a drop, but also the ocean. We were born again, and the world was born again for us, and we were born again with the world. Now we see what the world is and what are its laws, we know why we were born and how we should live. We have perceived a lot, and our Teacher helps us to learn more every day. We know the great Oughtness, – we know how to be good for this world.

How does the prophet receive revelation? – First of all, it should be pointed out that the “revelation” in the Teaching is not mystical, it is not a “message from higher powers”. Revelation in the Teaching is a genuine knowledge about the structure of the Universe, which Nature has transmitted to people. According to the Teaching, our Universe is a living, intelligent being, which we call the Creator. There are certain laws in its organism as there are certain laws in the organisms of all living beings. Our Universe is not limited to physical space, which, in fact, is only the physical body of the Creator. There are two more levels within it: energy, which acts as the second body of the Creator, and Spirit, which carries its personality and personalities of all sentient beings.

All three levels of the Universe could be studied with scientific methods. There are certain laws of Nature that exist at the physical level. There are also certain laws that exist at the level of energy. There are “programs” that are responsible for each law of Nature at the level of energy. At this stage, due to the absence of our own language and necessary terms these “programs” are called “gods” in the Teaching. In other words, “gods” are energetic essences of the most important laws and principles of Nature. One of these “programs” is responsible for the preservation of what is often called the “informational field” of the Universe, and what is called “tablets” in the Teaching. We call this “program” the God of Wisdom. In other words, through the God of Wisdom Nature transfers necessary knowledge to humanity. I will explain below why it was necessary.

Why is the prophet Atarkhat different from the previous prophets? – First of all, it is necessary to understand how everything works in the Universe. As I mentioned above, our Universe is a living being, and like any other living being, it appeared due to evolution. At this stage, its evolution is based on perfection of its Spirit, which is possible due to the internal perfection of its particles. This internal perfection of its particles sustains its future life. The particles of the Universe develop to become sentient in order to understand how the world works, to see their place in the world and realize the difference between what is good for them and the Universe and what is bad. Through this understanding, they can make the right choice in favor of good and, thus, develop morally… In other words, at some stage of evolution, conscious beings appear. The Spirit of the Creator is spread among them and they perfect it. In our case, we are talking about people: the more perfect a person becomes, the more perfect the Universe becomes. “Every intelligent race in the Universe must follow the path of knowledge and spiritual development. This path is complicated, but it is a natural and necessary process, since it is the guarantee of life. Every conscious being carries a particle of the Spirit, which is perfected through it, and, therefore, every intelligent race is priceless. But some of the intelligent races have special difficulties with spiritual development, their progress takes too long, and as a result, they are on the verge of extinction, and sometimes self-destruction”. You can read more about this in Atarkhat’s article “From the Depths of the Millennia”. Looking at the world around, it is easy to guess that humanity is one of such problematic races. At such moments, Nature is ready to help and direct her particles in the right direction. Through the God of Wisdom, it sends them an information message, which gives an intellectual and spiritual impulse, and, thus, contributes to overcoming the crisis. For many millennia, humanity has not been able to get out of the labyrinth of its delusions and follow the right path. “It received 26 revelations, which should have helped to follow the right path. Revelations were given to a limited circle of people and influenced humanity indirectly, through culture, science, philosophy, art. For a while, this helped humanity, but it was not enough to improve the situation dramatically. Now a critical moment has come in the life of mankind – it will either turn on the path of true knowledge, or will come to a slow extinction or self-destruction” (from material “The past life and afterlife”). The loss of any intelligent race is a huge tragedy for Nature, because it may take many millions of years to generate new intelligent beings as a result of evolution. At such a moment, Nature takes unprecedented measures – the last revelation, special, given not to a limited circle of initiates, like previous revelations, but to humanity. Atarkhat is the twenty-seventh and the last prophet of the God of Wisdom. The revelation he received differs from the previous ones as it is informationally more complete and it is given to everyone. It is also the final revelation. When you see all the complexity of the situation, it becomes clear that Atarkhat bears the super burden: to save humanity from self-destruction. In order to bear it, he makes almost inhuman efforts and shows incredible firmness, patience and wisdom. It was always uneasy for Teachers to bring the Truth to people, but this time something special was necessary. More than a Teacher, and more than a prophet – someone with unique experience received not only in this life, but also in the past. You can learn how Atarkhat got such an experience from his “Open Letters” to people, from the material “The past life and afterlife”, and briefly from the material “The prophet” on our website.

What is the role of the prophet in the Teaching? – If we answer this question formally, the material “The prophet” says the following: “The Teaching of the United Temple is based on revelation, so the prophet is the key figure in it. The prophet is the highest authority in the Teaching, since he receives the revelation, communicating directly with its source, has all the fullness of knowledge, and, therefore, naturally becomes the largest expert on all issues related to the Teaching. The Teaching is based on what was received through the prophet, and, therefore, cannot exist apart from his authority, neither now, nor in the future. The prophet passes on the knowledge he gained through the pandect books and other written materials, as well as orally. When the Teaching is concerned, his judgment is the highest authority and is not questioned. He is also the leader in all matters connected with the Teaching”. All of the above once again underlines the enormous responsibility the prophet takes upon himself. His mission is to found the Teaching, which carries knowledge about the world order and the good for mankind, to write books and other materials for people, so that in the future it would be easier for people to understand the picture of the world and to manage the affairs related to the Teaching. Above that, his mission is to take responsibility for teaching other people, passing on knowledge to them, helping them. It is very difficult to find the proper spiritual path, and it is even more difficult to follow it. It is actually so difficult that people have not been able to do it for thousands of years. And now we have such an opportunity. In our Teaching the prophet is also our Teacher and guide. He faces challenges together with us, helps us to understand our lives, overcome difficulties, survive losses and make confident steps forward on the chosen path. Atarkhat is our role model, he inspires us and supports us on out path. He does more than possible as a Teacher. In future, people will not have an opportunity to communicate face to face with Atarkhat; therefore, everyone who is following the Teaching now is going through a unique experience and has a unique opportunity to receive advice and support from the prophet and the Teacher directly. It’s priceless.

Why is the authority of the prophet higher than the authority of other Teachers? – As mentioned above, the prophet is a person who receives revelation from Nature. It means that his authority is higher than that of other Teachers, since the God of Wisdom, in view of a number of objective circumstances, considered that it was this person who should be entrusted with the last and the most important revelation. The prophet has more complete information, and this information is obtained from the original source. Other Teachers base their judgments on information received from the prophet and presented by him in oral and written form.

What signs confirm the status of the prophet? – There is nothing supernatural in Nature, everything happens in it exactly as it should be, in a natural way. People are used to waiting for a “miracle”, some kind of a sign, or even a “supernatural” sign. For some unknown reason, the easiest way to convince them of something is by showing them something that they don’t understand. For some reason, it seems to them that if they cannot explain the cause of some phenomenon, then this will certainly prove something. At the same time, there are a lot of different phenomena in Nature. They exist everywhere, within different traditions and cultures, and do not prove anything by themselves, except for the fact of existence of the phenomenon itself. If this is a phenomenon that science cannot explain – it does not prove anything yet; If this is a phenomenon that science can explain – then it no longer proves anything. For example, ancient people, not understanding what thunder and lightning were, considered them to be a proof of gods’ anger. Until they could explain this phenomenon, it could never be a proof of gods’ anger. When it was studied, it became obvious that this was not gods’ anger. Our Teaching takes the same positions as science: we believe that there is nothing supernatural, that supernatural miracles do not happen. Everything can be studied – it’s only a matter time. Thus, there should not be any supernatural signs proving the status of the prophet – because everything is as it is in Nature. Everything exists objectively. The Teaching does not call to believe blindly. On the opposite: if a person has a desire to make sure that the Teaching describes an objective reality, he can immediately start studying it, cognize, analyze, draw conclusions. The status of the prophet is confirmed by the integrity of the Teaching, its objectivity, and compliance with reality. There is no other way in Nature, and it cannot be.

What signs of respect should prophet’s followers show? There are no obligatory signs of respect in the Teaching that followers should show. Nevertheless, each follower recognizes the authority of the prophet, treats him with respect and trust, tries to be polite and sensitive. There’s nothing new here, because normal relationships between a Teacher and an apprentice are always based on trust and respect, it cannot be otherwise. A Teacher, like a good parent, loves and cares about his apprentice, tries to help him, instruct and support him. And an apprentice, like a good son or daughter, loves and trusts his Teacher, listens to his opinion and feels grateful for what his Teacher does for him. A Teacher dedicates himself to his apprentices: shouldn’t you be grateful?

Why was the prophet born in Gomel and why was the Teaching founded there? – The first of 27 revelations took place in the place where Gomel is now. It left a special energy that has not disappeared until now, precisely because this revelation was the first. The last revelation also left a unique energy. We can say that the circle of times has closed; the series of revelations ends where it began. For this, the prophet had to be born in Gomel.

What does “teodidact archeget Atarkhat” mean? – The terms “teodidact” and “archeget” are epithets, and they are taken from the ancient Greek language. The first means “taught by God”; the second is “founder”, “leader”. A lot of work was done to find the appropriate epithets that show the status of the prophet and reflect the essence of what he is doing. They show that he is the founder of the Teaching and leads everyone along with him. Atarkhat is the name of the prophet in the Teaching. What it means is not known exactly. Maybe someday there will be other people with the name Atarkhat – but there will always be only one theodidact archeget Atarkhat.

Did the prophet’s family accept his teaching? – According to the Teaching, you cannot impose your views on anyone, even if you consider them to be true. Each person independently gets acquainted with the Teaching, if he desires so. Knowledge of the world in any form is a voluntary matter, and each person decides for himself how his knowledge will be limited. Before any person accepts the Teaching as his own path, he needs to study it in details in order to understand what it is and what it teaches. Only if a person understands the Teaching sufficiently, recognizes it as a true path and is ready to follow it, can we talk about entering. This is a deliberate, informed and voluntary decision. You also need a firm intention to follow the Teaching, to follow its principles in life. It is nominally impossible to follow the Teaching, just as it is impossible to live nominally. The path in the Teaching is inseparable from life. For now on, the prophet’s family did not accept the Teaching, and does not consider the possibility of joining it. It is often very difficult for family members to accept the fact that there can be something so special in a person whom they know well from childhood. They are often reluctant to listen or seriously study what their family member is committed to. There is a lack of understanding and friction in the prophet’s family, and, in my opinion, this is even natural. Most people live an ordinary life, with focus on daily routines and they are not particularly interested in spiritual and philosophical matters. If someone next to them, even a member of their family, considers spiritual development to be the main aim, then this, as a rule, causes difficulties. People cannot understand why all this is needed, and very often they do not take it seriously. This misunderstanding arises as a result of completely different views and priorities.

Do higher powers protect the prophet? – The Teaching explains that there is no “supernatural”, because everything exists within the framework of Nature, which means that it is natural and normal. In this respect, the “higher powers” and the forces of Nature are one and the same. Nature supports each of its particles in all available ways. Surely, it does its best to enable the prophet to do what is due; but this does not happen at the wave of the hand. There are forces in Nature that protect the prophet at the energy level, enable him to do what he does, prevent energy attacks and other dangers through the second world. The Teaching sets face against delusions – and everything negative has its own energy, and it is very aggressive, ready to strike at any opportunity. Nature protects the prophet from such attacks.

What superpowers does the prophet have? – Before answering this question, it would be appropriate to define “superpowers”. We can say that these are abilities that go beyond the usual skills and abilities inherent in a person. In fact, there are enough of those on Earth whose abilities go beyond the usual skills and abilities – because everyone has their own talents, and there are people who are able to do what others cannot. Despite all the efforts of science, humans are still very little studied, as well as their potential, and therefore we still have to learn a lot about human abilities. However, such abilities by themselves do not refute or prove anything, and do not in any way affect either the world order or spirituality. In the Teaching, the prophet’s ability to receive and convey revelation to people plays a key role. This is his unique ability, which was necessary for Nature, and thanks to which humanity received the Teaching.

Is the prophet rich? – The Teaching does not aim at enrichment at the expense of followers. Everything that Atarkhat does, he does because he should, from a pure heart. Therefore, he is not rich at all. Teaching is his life’s work, his mission, and his help to people is absolutely free of charge. He transfers the Teaching to people, because this is his duty, because he cares about humanity and its future. Having an opportunity to do a great deed, he could not refuse. Truth is an absolute value, there is nothing more valuable than it, and there is no more worthy mission than helping people find it.

A few words in conclusion

There are immutable values in life, and the realization of these values comes at the moment when a person gets rid of indifference. Thanks to our Teacher and prophet Atarkhat, people from the Teaching are not indifferent. We understand that humanity has been suffering for many thousands of years. People cannot overcome their crisis in any way, they cannot reliably get to the path of knowledge and spiritual improvement. Each person contains a particle of the Spirit, each is priceless, and there is no one who could not overcome evil in himself. The Teaching carries a cure for indifference, hatred, enmity, cruelty, cowardice and much more. It gives people an opportunity to get rid of delusions, to understand how the world works, what is their place in life, to see the meaning of life and great things they are capable of. The Teaching helps us to support the world, live in the Great Unity, for the good of the Universe and other people. It shows us that the world is united and beautiful, and that looking at each person we look at ourselves. It opens the world in such a way that it is impossible not to love it. It encourages a person to become a Human, – after all, this is how he should be. For us, these are not high words and not just philosophy: we live in this way with every breath. We owe everything that we have learned, all these discoveries and changes in ourselves to our teacher Atarkhat. And we will try not to let him down and live our lives with dignity.
