I strengthen the Being

What is the main, fundamental meaning of human life? The one that is more important than satisfying ambitions, more important than money, fame, career, power, pleasure and similar “values”, and even more important than survival? What is the real aim that people have always been looking for? What is this aim, so that people could have a chance and the right to say to themselves: “Our existence is justified, our life and our death are really not in vain”?

The Teaching says we are here to fulfil the Great Oughtness. That is, in helping the Creator to improve. The success of his inner evolution – and, therefore, his life – depends on how quickly and efficiently people and other sentient beings improve the particles of his soul, which form the basis of their personalities. This is really the biggest and the most important thing that can be done in our Universe. The Universe was created in order for this improvement to take place, to achieve expected result. I repeat: there is nothing more important in the Universe. Well, and outside of it?

The Universe is vast, but not unlimited. It is part of even larger structure – the world in which the Creator lives. Thus, you and I, by definition, are particles of the Creator’s world. This means that the meaning of our existence extends beyond the Universe. It turns out to be part of the meaning of the Creator’s existence. And the meaning of the Creator’s existence, the meaning of his life, is somehow connected with the existence and evolution of the world which he is a part of. This means that in reality the meaning of our existence is not limited to the Great Oughtness. It is wider, more global. We are unlikely to be able to clearly imagine something even more global than the Universe, but at the same time we participate in the life of something that is more global than it, and, moreover, have a meaning for its life. It is such a strange thing … However, the world of the Creator is not yet the most enormous structure. He is part of something even greater. And that, in turn, is part of something even greater etc. It is not known how many of these “nesting dolls” are nested inside one another. But it is known that the biggest “nesting doll” is the boundless Being. This means only one thing: the final, most ambitious meaning of our existence also goes to the level of the Being.

It would seem: what does a man have to do with the Being? It is inconceivably difficult for him even to embrace his own Universe with his mind and perception, and it’s only a small particle of one of the small particles of the Being. Nevertheless, there is a direct connection.

Because each man is the Being. He lives the life of the Being according to the laws operating in the Being, his flesh is one of the substances of the Being, his thinking follows from the Principle of Reason, which is also one of the laws of the Being. Man is the Being, dwells in the Being, performs all his actions in the Being, receives from the Being everything that he possesses, and he himself affects the Being. And since there is a meaning in his existence as he is a particle of the Being, then this meaning must inevitably be directed towards the benefit of the Being.

What can be defined as benefits for the Being? It will be nothing else but assistance to the evolution of the Being, assistance to its improvement. Why? Because the Being gives life to everything that exists in it. That is, in general, everything in infinite time and infinite space. And in order to give life to all its particles, the Being must live by itself. It is designed in such a way that it gives life to all its particles, and they, in turn, help it evolve in order to continue to exist. It is impossible to imagine more profitable cooperation. Being works for its particles, thereby helping itself, and particles work for it, thereby helping themselves. Ideal situation. It is similar when we talk about people and the Creator. The Creator will perish, and all its particles will perish; thus, working for him, improving him, we work for ourselves, provide ourselves with an opportunity to live, work, achieve goals, create, love, enjoy and so on. In other words, we help the environment in which we live to exist. These lives are always wonderful, beautiful and precious, no matter how hard it may be for us. So, the same can be said about the Being. We also support it, thereby providing ourselves with an opportunity to live. However, if in the case of the Creator we act more directly (each one directly perfects a particle of his soul), in the case of the Being we act, so to speak, through a number of intermediate instances. Thus, the Creator, his world and other structures act as “nesting dolls”… This does not change anything though: we still participate in the life of the Being, fulfilling our purpose in relation to it.

In this case, it would be a mistake to consider that the result of our interaction with the Creator and the result of our interaction with the Being are the same. All this resembles a paradox. Both of these interactions, in fact, are one and the same: working for the Creator and simultaneously working for the Being, we support the existence of both (after all, the Creator is also the Being, they are one), thereby supporting our own existence. However, the effect is different in a way. So, what’s the difference? We will talk about this now.

When we focus on our interaction with the Creator, we presume that the result of this interaction does not go beyond the limits of the Creator himself, that is, the Universe. This means that our success here does not affect, for example, other Universes (existing in the world of the Creator). They have their own lives; their fates are decided by their inhabitants. What is more, we do not influence what happens outside the world of the Creator. As well as what happens in countless other worlds, systems and structures in the endless Being. From this point of view, the Creator is a system in which a closed cycle of development takes place: everything that happens in this system is important for it and its constituent particles, and does not influence what is outside of it. In other words, we can say that working for the Creator, we directly ensure the possibility of existence for ourselves, but not for the inhabitants of other Universes.

When we focus on our interaction with the Being, it is clear that the result affect everything in it. By helping the whole to exist, we help each of its particles to exist. Well, since the Being is infinite, we help an infinite number of worlds and beings to exist. It is difficult to comprehend. Really difficult. However, this is the case. From this point of view, what each of us does at every moment of his life turns out to be important for everything that exists. Moreover, this “everything” is immeasurably larger than the Universe.

How does this happen? It’s simple – no matter how strange it may sound in relation to such a large-scale subject. The whole is made up of particles, and the well-being of this whole depends on what the particles do. It depends on what each of them does. In other words, the favorable development of the situation for the whole is a set of useful actions of its particles. Without the beneficial activity of each of the particles, there will be no cumulative beneficial effect. Therefore, what each particle does has a meaning for the whole, and through it, for all other particles. They are interdependent. The wrong effect from the activities of any of them worsens the situation for the rest, because it threatens the well-being of the whole. Similar as diseased cells worsen the general condition of the body. And the more there are, the more the body is in danger. If the body dies, all cells will die. Even those who are still healthy. Therefore, every cell is important.

In the same way, every particle is important for the Being. Each of us actually works not only for the Creator, but also for the Being and for all other particles. Through the Being, we also benefit those who live in other Universes. And to those who are particles of unimaginable and unimaginably distant worlds that exist in the Being. What is the specific benefit? We give them life. After all, by supporting the existence of the Being, we enable it to exist. And they provide the same service to us. We are all dependent on each other in the Being.

This is, on the maximum scale, the work in which a person is involved. It strengthens the Being, supports its life, thereby supporting the life of everyone and everything that exists in the Being. Of course, on such a scale, his role is not that significant. We can even say microscopic, like a man himself. But from microscopic particles, mountains reaching the sky are composed. Moreover, for the unlimited Being, the dimensions of its particles and the scale of their role are not of great importance. For infinity, everything is equally microscopic – an atom, a person, a Universe and beyond. Thus, we should not worry about size. The main thing is that we have something to do with it. That we are doing our part of great work. Not just great, but the greatest. Work equal to the Being.

Hence, the following fundamental conclusion can be drawn: there are no insignificant people. Everyone is important. Even a so-called “no-one important” who plays an insignificant, inconspicuous role in the society. Even if his life turns out in such a way that he was unable to do anything that would significantly change the lives of other people for the better, significantly improve the world, etc. He still contributes to the maintenance of the life of the Being. How? Though his development it becomes better. Perhaps with great difficulty, slowly, barely noticeable – but it becomes. Thus, he helps the Creator to improve and maintains the existence of the Being. This is how surprising it is: the one whose usefulness is invisible on a relatively small scale of the society in which he lives, turns out to be useful, and therefore precious, for the Universe and the Being. This is what can really be called a miracle.

There are no absolutely useless and insignificant people. Everyone is doing important work. He does it, at least in himself, – someone is less successful, someone is more, depending on how consciously and purposefully he develops, becoming better. Development, one way or another, is always going on. But, of course, it is preferable that it runs faster and better. It makes sense to try, make a conscious effort. Then when you ask yourself: “What is the meaning of my life?”, you will have right to answer: “I strengthen the Being.” If, together with self-development, you can do more, do something good and useful for another person, society, the world – do, work, try, because it is necessary and important. If this does not work out, then work for the Being in yourself, in your soul. Strengthen it with yourself, strengthen it with your every thought, word, deed. The talent for this is the gift that every person is endowed with, without exception. Because this is the essence of man. And the essence of the Being itself.
